Space Age armchair by Raphael Raffel, France, 1970

This ivory plastic shell chair has been reupholstered in leopard-print velvet from Edmond Petit. A geometric assembly of lacquered wood replaces its missing original leg. The plastic shell shows signs of wear and patina consistent with age and use, such as minor scratches and light stains.
